I had a bacterial sinus infection in Bonaire. I was ill the entire trip, but lucky for Arch, not badly enough to cancel the trip. I had to see a Dutch Dr. at a small clinic, two times, for antibiotics Rxs. Each time, I was given a payment receipt and invoice, but was not given a written diagnosis note, and gee, I’m sorry I didn’t have the complete Arch Roamright handbook with me, I was sick and needed to get to the Botika. Upon my return, I submitted my claim for $178. Arch denied it because I do not have a description. I was not given one. So, after 3 years using you, I will not use you again. Congratulations, you coast yourself $10,000 for a policy for next year’s trip.

Customer service was very good, but it has taken 3 weeks to get resolution. In my opinion, that's a long time. We had to dig & make phone calls to come up with all of the required documents but our claim was filed within 2 days of returning home from our trip.

Claim process is a little longer than expected

First go around with Travel insurance, Arch made it easier.
A friend got me started with this company and she did the up front leg work to get the quote. I can only speak about the purchase of the policy. Laurie Ann made it easy & quick to purchase. The paperwork that was provided by the quote did make it easier for me to understand what I was purchasing; more so that other travel insurance policies I had investigated on my own. I was confused and frustrated with this first encounter of buying travel insurance. My friends help and the better written Arch documents improved my ability to understand what I needed for coverage and what I was buying.

Job well done
I never thought I would be writing a positive review for an insurance company. Arch Insurance is worthy of that positive review. Following an injury in Chile, I needed to use the services of Arch Insurance. I had to file several claims, one to get home, one for expenses, and one for the lost services relating to the trip in which me and wife could no longer continue. The claims process was fairly simple. However, when I needed to speak to a representative, I was able to speak with someone quickly and was provided with good information. My claims settlements were fair and received in a timely fashion.

Kindness During a Difficult Time
I was going through a terrible experience with my mom falling just before my planned vacation.
