I’ve used Quicken since it first became available more than thirty years ago and couldn’t do without it. In fact, it amazes me that anyone who’s responsible for their family’s finances doesn’t use it. If I were to enumerate the life-saving features Quicken offers, this review would run to many pages, so suffice it to say try it for yourself and find out.
The only thing I do know, is that I could not exist without Quicken…I open Quicken up everyday that I am home. I then transfer over everything from my bank into my check register…then of course I fill in the blanks…it such a nice product…I have been using Quicken for many years now, probably since Quicken existed. So just buy it, you won’t regret it.
I have found Quicken to be a simple and robust system for organizing and storing our family finances. It's easy to use and maintain. I see this response notes my "date of experience" I'm a long time user, at least ten years. That's a history I can access, price comparisons, tax payments..... An easy way to keep records as detailed as you need i to be.
This is one of the MOST inflexible, poorly written SWs in ANY industry. I tried to do an audit of the account. What would have taken me minutes in EXCEL took practically the whole day. Their commercials touting how superior this SW is over EXCEL is a complete joke. I can write a series of reports, can improve segmentation in areas this SW cannot even touch.

I've been using Quicken for years. I have always found it reliable, intuitive and accurate. I always appreciate the updates and upgrades.

Over the last couple of years, there has been a steady increase in problems with the software updates. Two updates in the last 2-years has caused major problems for my checking and savings entries and balance. Each time I spent hours manually correcting the entries and balances from bank statements.

I am a 45 year customer. As you continue with your updates, I am finding more and more problems. I have to constantly make corrections and updates. You have posted deposits as an expense, and one time, just the opposite. You have totally lost accuracy in the posting to my categories. THE ONLY REASON FOR CONTINUING IS BECAUSE OF MY DATA HISTORY. I WAS VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING STOPPING. I am exasperated fixing the errors.

Transaction Split Categories are gone for several of my most common transactions. I'm having to recreate all transaction split details. Now I'm not sure I trust any of the data I'm seeing.

I would like to see automatic download of crypto prices as well as transactions from Coinbase and other platforms that deal with crypto so I don't have to update everything manually every day.

I wish we could own our on purchase. I hate that it is a year subscription. I liked how we used to buy the disk and upgrade when we wanted not being forced to renew or lose all our datea.

Quality of software continues to go down hill. Lots of issues in the past.
Most recently I couldn't log on to my LOCAL copy, because there was an issue with my web based password. I should not have to use that password at all. Took several days to resolve, multiple re-install, and password changes.

Transaction downloads should be simpler, especially when needing to update the connection with the bank. There always seems to be a need to update the connection and that tends to create weird changes to initial balance or downloading previous transactions and not matching them.

I have been using Quicken for many years. Occasionally their are issues and the Quicken team always gets them corrected. The software is upgraded regularly and it keeps track of my finances accurately.

Your rate went up by far more than inflation. You are tempting me to use different software.

trigger-happy cancellation; took me an hour and half to change my password - having had to go through five loops to do that. I have Quicken for over 15 years with various stages of success.
