As I was attempting to make an flight reservation, I ended calling Priceline because I couldn't get the online service to work. There I met with Lane who handled my reservation and for the most part got all my details correct. The only bad thing was the rates changed while he was handling my reservation. I found a cheaper rate online but for some reason the sale wouldn't go through. When I called and Lane and he took care of it, the rate went up all within 10-15 minutes. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the booking. Thank you.

Lime was clear, consice and efficient during my booking experience. He followed up with me in a timely manner and worked hard to find me the best ticket possible. He was also very helpful in knowing the customs requirements for my trip.
Thanks Lime

Bought trip protection for a $220 flight in the case I needed to change or cancel the flight. Also within the booking window to cancel. Priceline, which is not advertised when you click for extra protection, wanted to charge a $50 cancellation fee….modifying my flight to another day was the same cost. Absolutely predatory on both selling a service you could not use and then taking advantage of the situation to charge a fee which is NOT advertised on the page when buying the extra protection. Worse than Wal-Mart and service was worse.

Delilah was extraordinarily patient as she and I navigated my way through my booking. She was friendly, courteous, and professional at all times. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I was following her directions. Although we were on the phone for almost two hours, Delilah was patient, kind, and cheerful the entire time. She was very knowledgeable about the process and did an expert job of helping me book several connecting flights for multiple passengers. Many thanks to Delilah.

Priceline giving the runaround

Had a vacation planned for four nights. Booked package through Priceline. Had connecting flight on Easter Sunday to go through IL then the TN. The plane was diverted to Indiana where we sat for two hours. Then as they put too much fuel in, we had to circle around KY for an additional 1.5 hours. A 2.5 hr flight turned into 7 hours. We missed our connecting flight to TN. While sitting on the plane I contacted Priceline immediately to advise the hotel we would not make the trip and needed to cancel the hotel and car rental. Priceline advised me they would contact The Conrad I my behalf for a refund. I then had to book an additional room and car in Illinois as our TN vacation turned into a Chicagoland vacation which was not thrilling but with limited time and flying from TN to IL on Thursday to bring a family member back, we decided to stay in IL. I receive notification that The Conrad will not issue a refund. I can appreciate a refund policy, however, it is not as if I canceled on a whim and didn’t want to utilize the hotel and car rental This ordeal has been exhausting and frustrating to say the least, not being out over $3500 just adds to the irritation. The Conrad hotel stated they accurate my request but Priceline says otherwise. Getting the run around

Flight arrangements for adoption purposes

I was hesitant booking my own international airfare due to including a one-way ticket for bringing my adopted child back to the U.S. in addition to my round-trip ticket. Therefore, I called Priceline for agent assistance to help accomplishing this to avoid errors or mishaps. Connecting with Daniel, I explained the need of available return flights with adding an additional person to the itinerary. He understood and was absolutely helpful and knowledgeable in locating flights that met criteria. Furthermore, Daniel sourced the most cost-effective for minimal layover times. He also determined how cost would be affected based on which day (dates) for departure and return was selected. There were IT technical issues on Priceline's side at no fault of Daniel, which he returned my call once resolved. It does not affect my rating as it was out of his control. Therefore, I give a rating of 5 stars based on customer service.

The review is for Renne @ Priceline

The review is for Renne @ Priceline. I would give 10 stars out of five to Renne.
She was incredibly patient, kind and generous in time, going over my flight itinerary discussion and ensuring all my requirements for the travel are met. She surely did go beyond the extra mile to ensure that not only do I get the best (cheapest) fares but also the most convenient n comfortable route (with the least layover). She did go over multiple date options, multiple route options to accomplish the above with the departure and destination cities of my need and the special conditions I had requested. And she did all with absolutely no complaints, but with incredible kindness and politeness. Renne provided me full disclosure information on the ticketing, baggage, cancellation and refunds to make sure I have all the information.

Poor Communication and no help

We reserved a car online using Priceline. When we arrived at the Avis location rental counter in Springfield, Missouri 1210 W Sunshine St, we were informed that because I had an out of state drivers license I had to have a second form of government issued ID to receive the car. I did not have this, and could not get it because I had just flown in. Priceline did not notify us of this, and we never received any communication from the location saying this would be required. We were now stuck in a city that was an hour drive from our vacation spot with no transportation and all other locations were out of vehicles. When we called the main Avis hotline for support, we were told that because the Springfield location was an "independently" operated facility they could make up their own rules and there was nothing Avis could do. Avis also made not effort to make things right and help us find a new rental car. Additionally, Priceline made no effort to help us. On Avis' website it says "OUR ONLY PLAN IS TO MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOURS" They did not live up to this in any way. This location apparently has this problem so often, they have a 50" TV in the office saying "If we can't validate your credentials we cannot rent you a car". This location should be contacting everyone who makes a reservation, they should lose their Avis credentials, be removed from Priceline, a combination of those, or all 3. I will NEVER rent from Avis again. Up until now, they have been my go to agency.

AVOID PRICELINE AT ALL COSTS!

ABSOLUTELY, 1000% WILL NEVER USE PRICELINE AGAIN! This company is absolutely awful. I booked a rental car through them. The rental car company texted and says oops we don't have a car for you now due to high demand during spring break, please contact Priceline for a refund. Priceline WILL NOT reimburse me because Carwiz refuses to answer their calls. They could fix this themselves to keep a customer, but they blew it. I've called once a week for 6 weeks, and all they say is that they will escalate the case. I asked what they will do in 3 months when we're still having this conversation. Will Priceline do the right thing, or continue to let Carwiz ghost them? This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Find a solution!

Priceline works for the rich

I have used Priceline for years. If the hotel is good, using Priceline helps save money. sometimes nice hotel will pretend Priceline is inferior, but they do not refuse us. If you're dealing with a Shawty Hotel, you will have issues. If Priceline is in the middle, the issues will be much worse, my latest experience: Checked in at motel with pool on a Friday night for three nights. Hotel told me for the pool would be opened at 9 AM that Saturday, but we awaken to an empty pool. Hotel clerk and manager approved a refund, and we contacted Priceline. We checked out, and called Priceline again that Saturday, twice on Sunday, and again Monday morning to be told the motel was not answering the phone. Knowing that was a lie from Priceline, I went to the hotel and spoke to the clerk – same one. With Priceline On the speakerphone, Priceline called the hotel clerk who answered and approved. I stayed on the phone with Priceline another solid hour as yet another person called the front desk of the hotel. I got my refund after five calls to Priceline and 48 hours after checkout. Refund would not have happened had i not been near enough to show up to the budget motel in person with Priceline on speaker. Priceline is very greedy, extremely deceptive, And you can only use them if you have a combative mind or a lot of money to throw away or spend on fancy hotels.
