We've been on Nomador for 2 months and have booked 3 house/pet sits so far. The families whose homes and pets we will be looking after seem very friendly and trusting. And it appears that they have beautiful houses with pools! It wasn't easy to get our first sit as the popular houses get a lot of applications. It took 13 applications before we had success. The platform and support have been excellent.
I will update this review after our first house sit experience.
Nomador was a dream come true for us! As soon as we posted our search for a house/cat sitter, we received 4 offers. We chose the one that we thought would be best (and he was!) suited for our rather challenging home situation (extremely rural and cold, rough winters). Easy communication and we felt assured through Nomador's vetting process. Highly recommended.
Allegra and Mikel are absolutely fantastic!
They are true animal lovers. You can feel it as soon as you meet them. And I totally trusted them right from the beginning.
Plus, they had to deal with unexpected events at my place, and a last minute injury on my dog just before I left…..
They were so good at it and relay comprehensive with the situation.

As a long-time house sitter, (15 years), and member of several other match-up sites, I find Nomador unique. I have interviewed the owner, who consequently became a friend. Right away, I appreciated the founder's business principles--full of respect for the house sitting/traveling community, and not just in it for the money.
The homeowners I've met on Nomador are in their own category. I'll call them 'good souls,' those who have become lifelong friends. Many homeowners I've met on other sites are also wonderful folks, but on Nomador, it seems so consistently true.

Nomador have absolutely no customer service. I cancelled automatic payment and they took the payment anyway. I then contacted them to get a refund but they don't reply at all.
I have now raised this with my CC company.
Also, notice how often they have a negative review and then a quick influx of very strangely written positive reviews. This is a very classic technique used by companies to hide their bad reviews. Please filter and read the 1/2* reviews about nomador.

A win-win situation... Pets get to stay in their home environment, pet-sitters get to experience a home-from-home free-of-charge and it doesn't cost owners anything either.

Non-existing customer service. The one time password never reaches your email. They claim that they will reach you before the contract ends, but this never happened now I am paying one additional month. This is very disgusting. The concept is good and really sustainable, but the practicality of this concept is a scam

Excellent site linking me with a petsitter. It was a great exchange. I enjoyed having them stay and look after my cat and they enjoyed staying here. the whole process felt easy, and thus I would use Nomador again - the paid version
