Very user-friendly app - easy to scan and find food. Supporting in finding healthier options, keeping fat and sugar levels moderate. I use when needed to lose few kg’s and to remember how to maintain healthy food habits.
I have been using MyFitnessPal for more than 10 years. I have the premium version. It has been very useful in terms of keeping track of my calories even though I do not have any particular weight or health problems and also integrates well with the Apple health app.
This app is very responsive, reads many barcodes correctly and promptly, no issues for me, I use it daily to track amount of caloric intake. I have a personal scale to weigh my servings. Once you enter them in the food items are kept in history which make it easy to find. I think the yearly subscription is worthwhile.

It helps me stay healthy
I have been using MyFitnessPal for a couple of months. It's not only about losing weight; it helps me track my protein intake.
It' easy to use you can create your meals and copy a serving from any date.
Even when you eat out, you can usually find the place and the meal in the app.

Useful as Guidline
I walk most days 8-10K (less frequently up to 20K) and have been wearing a Fitbit for about 5 years. My Fitbit is reliable for step counting but not so when calculating exercise days -pause too long to pat a dog or wait for a lengthy pedestrian signal and my 8K walk no longer counts as an exercise day. Sleep duration can be confusing as it most often displays the previous day, first thing in the morning, and the app reading must be discarded and reopened to view the current reading. Two minor irritants but I will continue wearing my Fitbit.

The app just doesn't work with FitBit.
The app was fixed to connect with my FitBit for about a day. Then it stopped working again. I canceled my premium membership. I can do the same stuff with the FitBit app. It isn't as easy, but I'm not paying for services I can't access.

I find the app very useful in checking my calorie, carbs and fat intake. Carbs are a particular concern because I am a diabetic and they have a direct effect on my blood sugar. If I can find a criticism it would be the americanised measures such as a cup and sometimes it's difficult to get a gram measure instead.
