Whilst everything seemed great on initially entering the lease, things quite quickly started to deteriorate, we ended up with a leak under the sink, the freezer door fell off, the radiator in the lounge ended up hanging on by a thread and when reported it took months for someone to organise a visit and even then it was pure luck that I was off work that day but had somewhere to be at 11am but the contractors were not willing to work around that and turned up 10 minutes before I was due to leave. These issues continued for over a year with promises that they would chase the contractors up and get them fixed, one layer of paint on the walls meant you only had to walk past them to mark them or take a layer off. And being told that we were the only flat experiencing mould to find out that multiple other flats had the same if not worse issue. Trying to get a response was almost impossible until it came to handing the keys in and now we are still fighting for our holding deposit back. Would avoid at all costs.

Word of wisdom to the wise. This agency is a scam.
Word of wisdom to the wise. If you are thinking of renting a property with this letting agent, pay close attention to the reviews.
The 5 star reviews are coming from people's initial encounter with the agency.....property viewings, keys being handed over to their new property, and the likes.
The 1 star reviews are coming from those with lived experiences.......people who have actually lived in their properties for a considerable period of time. Those are the reviews that paint the truest picture of this agency.
As a current tenant at Millbeck House, I wholeheartedly agree with all of the 1 star reviews.
Every nightmare you could imagine with a letting agency, will be your experience living in one of their properties:
Neglected emergency repairs that lead to hazardous and unsanitary living conditions.
Property managers who will gaslight you and use intimidation tactics to force you to pay them rent while living under hazardous and unsanitary living conditions. Which is illegal by the way, and falls under tenant harassment.
Severe malpractice and deceit in their dealings/communications with you.
Will provide no alternative accommodation when the property falls into disrepair due to their negligence and incompetence.
So, be sure to know your rights as a tenant if you insist on becoming their tenant after reading these 1 star reviews.
I can only assume that this company is on the verge of going bust. Hence their absurd level of professional incompetence at every level, from the receptionist to the Director.
Bottom of the barrel scroungers who've banded together to make a quick buck, and are useless with nothing of value to offer. Your hard earned money will be far better spent elsewhere.
Review sites need to allow zero star ratings because that is my rating of this agency.

Lovely experience

Appalling throughout
Lots of good reviews because they ask you to write them whilst they give you a great service. That’s until you start paying the rent. Horrendous once you become a tenant with them. An entire new build block of flats and every tenant has an issue. Don’t respond to messages or complaints.
Particular issues with Isaac and Craig who handle the complaints by simply not responding. Both of them promised in writing that maintenance issues would be resolved and then they weren’t. Escalated complaints to the director (as per their policy) they lost the first complaint and then didn’t bother to even acknowledge when I resent it.
Would do everything to avoid this lot.

theres not a bad enough word to use to describe
i originally requested to move in april, they then pulled it forward to march. upon viewing the property, there were mushrooms growing in the kitchen. i accepted to keys as i was practically homeless and i was aware obviously of the health risks. i was told nether the less the health risks would be removed before i got the keys. to my surprise it was all left down to myself to remove. seeing it as a project, i did so. however, the issues kept coming back. nathan bleasdale - what a useless part of this company. he advised that if i reported the problems they would be fixed. i’ve lived here for 12 months and 5 people have been to the property with the issues returning again. it took them 3 months to fix a shower, that’s 3 months of having to visit my ex partner to use his shower multiple times a week. took them 4 months to provide a new washing machine. to this day, mushrooms are still here and the bathroom is covered in black mold. i reported mice, insects, the mold, mushrooms and absolutely no one has been to look into it. on multiple occasions, i would report an issue and 1 week later i would get a response ‘has anyone been in touch’ well obviously not, otherwise why would i report it. nathan, the property manager, would often not even bother to reply to my emails, this was extremely frustrating as i thought now i will not get the deposit back. i was also told the lights would be working upon moving in, this of course was not the case. one of the lights in the bedroom had blew out and i was told this was my issue to solve.
if only i knew how much stress, sickness and unpaid days off of work this flat would cause i would not have thought about moving in at all.
due to the above, ive encounter very bad sicknesses and mental health issues. absolutely disgusting service from all names: nathan bleasdale, charlotte thorpe and ciara o’grady
i pity the fool who fools for these 5 start ratings.

Claire was very friendly and informative. She answered all my questions and let me visit the same apartment a number of times whilst I was in the building to make comparison. Claire always answered my text messages promptly and tried to work around my availability which really helped me and she always sent me the information I required when she said I would.
