Plants were safely and carefully packaged and came with excellent instructions. The boxes are strong, and I appreciate that b/c its been too cold/windy/raining here to plant them--because it took us so long to remove the weeds that grew where the ajuga died over the winter.
I've ordered from Bluestone Perennials several times and have always had a positive experiences. Everything comes packaged with such care. The plants are fresh and ready to go in the ground...just give them some water to perk them up and place whole biodegradable pots in the ground. I've had great success with all plants blooming multiple years in a row. Thank you Bluestone for all you do!
I bought a collection of 3 chrysanthemums and a red tall phlox, and they all look healthy and robust, like they have a good fighting chance. I order most of my plants from a bluestone as I like there selection of perennials and they come well packaged. I am enjoying Angelique tulips I bought last fall and they are stunning,❤️
I've purchased many plants from Bluestone. They always show up looking healthy and preform great once planted. Plants are well packaged for shipping and have lots of growth when they arrive (not the case when I bought from another well known online seed and plant store/catalog) .
We are a second-generation, family owned and operated perennial nursery since 1972. Our flower nursery has 5+ acres of greenhouses that are bursting with more than 1,000 varieties of beautiful perennials, shrubs, mums, and ornamental grasses, all grown in plantable earth friendly pots.

The packaging was a mess. The soil and plants were all over the box and there was a lot of clean up on e I got the box open. The plants were however healthy and seem to have survived.

I was disappointed about communication from the company. I received an initial email stating that in just a day or so I would receive another email with specifics about exactly when my order would be shipped, but that did not happen. I emailed customer service several weeks later and got nothing more than sorry, it will ship within a two week window in April, which was information I already knew. If you’re not going to follow through, don’t make promises!

Plants were in a sorry state. I received an order from another online garden retailer within a day and the difference in the quality and health of the plants was in stark contrast to the Bluestone Perennials order. This isn't my first order, and I've watched the quality really decline over the years.
