I purchased some items from Bed Bath & Beyond and received wrong inferior items and have been calling and calling and cannot reach anyone helpful. The corporate office in Utah doesn't EVER answer any phone line but has voice mail set up during business hours from Monday through Friday when they are supposed to be open. I have multiple case numbers but cannot reach anyone. Bed Bath & Beyond states that they cover returns of wrong and defective products yet when I try to start a return they want each product returned separately and want to charge me 80 to 90% of the product price for each items for the return label to return it. I feel defrauded. Bed Bath & Beyond will NEVER EVER have my business again.

If I could leave a zero star I would. Bed Bath & Beyond are nothing but thieves and con artists. I received a gift card and they will not honor it because they changed brand even though the name still is Bed Bath & Beyond. They will not honor my gift card they are thieves Crooks. Look at the amount of negative reviews on customer service. I would not give them my business if they were the last door open on the planet.

I ordered a product that I never received. They claimed it was delivered. I contacted UPS and they informed me that an image/photo of delivery was not available. Still I was charged for the product I never received and had no recourse. Their website is a joke. They list contact information but the email address goes nowhere. I will never order from them again, much less shop in their stores if there are any left. No wonder they went out of business. Customer service is non existant.

I ordered a coffee pot and when it arrived I realized it I ordered wrong model . I attempted to return the item and BBB wanted to charge 30.00 for a shipping label which is almost the cost of the coffee pot. I called their customer service who explained that was correct- offered an alternative to pay 20.00 more for a membership that allows one free return / month HOWEVER you never get your money back- it is always a store credit. DO NOT order from BBB , This policy is hidden on their website.

AVOID Bed Bath & Beyond - There is NO customer service - I feel I have been cheated

Never Received Order

Garbage

Garbage. The worst shopping experience ever.
I ordered two items, one of which was out of stock, and the other took more than a month to be delivered. I still have not received it yet. Extremely horrible!

poor service & the sale of inferior goods

Honestly, I used to find their brick and mortar store a delight to shop at, offering the best quality, service and return policy.
However, that has all changed. I purchased several items from BB&B. I wrote to tell them that I wanted to return one of the purchases as it did not meet my needs (it did not do what it was designed to do and kept falling from the rod- and cost $20).
They responded with a very dissatisfying note "Sorry, you experienced buyer's remorse." You can say that again. So sorry I shopped with them. I will never purchase another thing from BB&B, as they practice poor service & sell inferior goods.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE crooks. no wonder they went into bankruptcy. STAY AWAY FROM ALL their lower quality products. absolute junk now. I bought the exact same brand of cookware, and it's now just absolute trash. please don't give another penny to these people

You have to pay to ship DEFECTIVE items back!

You have to pay for shipping labels to ship back defective products/products which were improperly represented. This should be 100% covered by the company, but they argue with you that you should just join their rewards program (for $19.95 a year) to get one free return a month. I shouldn’t have to pay AT ALL to return a product! You should provide high quality products (especially for the price you charge) that look like they do in the product photos and match the product description. They deserved to go bankrupt. DO NOT ORDER FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND.

Overpriced return shipping

I ordered queen sized sheets but received full instead. They wanted $21 for a return shipping label for an item that cost $36 and was shipped to me for $6.99. Will not be doing any business with this store in the future.

DO NOT BUY MATTRESSES FROM BED, BATH and BEYOND!

Bought an expensive child's loft bed and a mattress. Received TONS of emails with the date the products would arrived. A week after these dates, I called customer service to learn that the order was stuck in customs. Clearly no one was following it. They eventually got it released and it wound up in Dieppe, NB, in a trailer, where the status didn't change. After opening tracers with the carrier, they found the mattress and delivered it (dumped it in the driveway - didn't even ring the doorbell), but so far the tracking of the bed remains unchanged after a week.

The mattress appears to be a very poor quality. It seems Bed Bath and Beyond's "policy" is to not accept mattress returns unless they are in the original sealed package. Well, how can one tell the quality if the mattress is in the box? Why sell product online that is IMPOSSIBLE to return.

Ridiculous!

Oh they offered me a 25% off coupon on my next purchase - like that would ever happen,

Overwhelmed with Advertising Emails

Towels I received are just what I wanted. Why the one star? Because to reward me for making a purchase I am now getting AT LEAST THREE EMAILS of advertising EVERY DAY!! I do not recommend buying from B3!

Bought patio furniture online

Bought patio furniture online, the order shipped immediately. The next day they dropped the price by 70 dollars apiece x 4 items a total of a 280 dollar drop. They do not have a price match even under these conditions. In a world of customer service theirs is appalling. I’ve never heard of a company with no price guarantee on their own items discounted the day after a purchase. Zero stars never again purchase anything from them,

Missing parts

I just bought a patio swing. The order clearly says swing with cushions and pillows. The shipment came without cushion and pillows. When I informed them about mission parts, initially I was told that I was supposed to get two packages and since I got only one, they are tracking the other package and will get back to me. Two days later, they informed me by an e-mail that swing comes without cushion and pillows and I can buy them separately. I sent them a copy of my order that clearly states that my order includes them and they should send me those without paying any extra.. I am waiting for a response.

Just dont

Used to love shooping at the stores but the online experience is just bad. Poor quality, customer service is terrible.. bought a couple (ie. 2) both arrived broken and of poor quality.. my advice, avoid this company

Bad product

Bad product, terrible customer service. Never buy anything from this company again. I bought a shed in Oct 2024 and installed by a professional installer early Nov. Shed collapsed after three months.

Please BEWARE of this company

Please BEWARE of this company. The company does not have integrity or morals. They are thieves. I ordered an item and return it. I was promised a refund but NEVER received my money after returning the item. The company stated each time I spoke with them that I would receive a refund. I NEVER receive it and I started the process in December. I have washed my hands with this company. Please learn from my experience and not take a chance with this company. I do not have money to give away. I basically paid for the item that I returned back to the company, to be clear, BB&B kept the merchandise and my money.Scam, Fraud, Dishonest to say the least. Explains why they went out of business. Now they are scamming people behind closed doors. No longer can go in the store and discuss issues in person. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. THERE ARE OTHER RELIABLE ONLINE COMPANIES THAT VALUE PEOPLE AND THE MERCHANDISE IS GREAT.

Never order from Bed Bath and Beyond

I ordered a couch and it has been an awful experience. My shipment was supposed to come in 6 boxes. I only received 5. When I put the couch together I realized I was still missing some of the legs and I had 0 backrest pillows. When I contacted them they kept giving me the run around. First asking me if a box could have been dropped off at a neighbors. I live in an apartment. I would see a giant box at my neighbors door. There was no extra box. Then, they asked me to check the ottoman. As if 8 giant pillows and couch legs would fit in an ottoman. Now i’m waiting to see if the warehouse can ship the extra parts if they even have them. This company is awful.

Bought towels from Bed Bath & Beyond, but they were rough and lost softness after one wash. They also shed lint everywhere. Expected better quality for the price.
