They processed everything quickly and refunded me for my flight without any hassle. Honestly, it was such a relief during a really stressful time.

We had a trip from hell on Allegiant Air. Kept us in the airport for 8hrs before cancelling our flight at 11pm after telling everyone they wouldn't cancel. This forced us to get a hotel, book another flight to a different airport, had to rent a rental car, buy meals etc... Allegiant refused to pay for anything. Thank goodness, I had Allianz insurance. They were extremely quick to respond, very understanding, reviewed everything I submitted and approved within days. I historically never get trip insurance but my wife has had some health issues so I bought it. I will be buying it from now on!
The claim process was very easy to complete online. But a decision took twice as long as specified. Furthermore I received a refund amount with no description as to how it was compiled as it was less than I applied for. Though a phone call got me that information, it would have been best if the explanation came along with the approval notice.
I had to cancel my whole trip and luckily, I had purchased Allianz insurance. The entire process was extremely smooth and easy. It was easy to start the claim and it spelled out exactly what to do. Uploading the documents was also very straightforward. Lastly, I had communication from Allianz at every step. I received my refund incredibly fast.

Viking Amsterdam tour
I communicated & provided documentation requesting half as Viking would refund other half. Still received full amount electronically. Called to communicate I was going to send back half through online bill pay but was told Allianz only accepted checks. Doesn’t make sense, can send payments electronically but can only receive paper checks? I had to get a cashier’s check from my financial institution as I’ve not used checks in years. : (

Pointless options
Despite one of the reasons to submit a claim was “relocation for work” and I proved I would be out of town for work before, during and after the event, my claim was still denied. I am ‘relocating for work’ by every sense of the meaning, but still not as not approved. So now I’m out $500 and don’t get to see my event.

We were very pleased with service we received concerning our recent claim. Your service was very speedy and we were kept informed as to status of our claim. The only reason we didn’t give you a 5 star rating was because I had difficulty with the web site when filing my claim. However the person I talked to was able to insure me that the claim had been filed.

Babysitter got Covid
Getting insurance for an event that I couldn’t make, due to a fault not of my own doing, it was great that I submitted a claim with ease and had little hassle getting my money refunded. I wish I could’ve made it to the concert I bought a ticket for, but it was worth having the insurance to cover for me since I was unable to attend. Would definitely continue to purchase insurance in case of unforeseen events! 10/10!

Headache-Free
The only delay was me gathering the necessary supporting documents to file my claim. Once submitted, I received a prompt decision / refund. As for the initial filing, it was easy and straight-forward. Instructions were very clear. I spent $4,400.00 on a trip and cancelled it over two months in advance because there was a traveling advisory for Americans to go to the island me and my daughter were going too. Alliance denied me getting a refund because they do not cover advisories, which I feel is ridiculous because it is something out of our control. And on top of that, I did not cancel last minute, I canceled two months in advance. Please think before purchasing trackers insurance.

not worth it, insurance didn't pay my claim
very disappointed to learn that my claim wasn't approved as apparently the policy for travel doesn't cover when the airline drops you on a different airport and makes you drive to your final destination. This should be better explained on the advertisement.
