As someone deeply committed to doing things right for our trucking business, I believed I was signing up for support, accuracy, and compliance. But what followed exposed a deeper truth — one that truckers, especially new carriers and owner-operators, deserve to know. ⸻ The Mistake They Won’t Admit We were sent the wrong ELD cable — a 6-pin J1708, which is clearly listed on Motive’s own website as being for trucks manufactured in 1999 or earlier. Our truck? A 2003 Kenworth T2000 with a 9-pin diagnostic port. I provided everything: • The VIN • Clear photos of the diagnostic port • The model year • And even a direct quote from their website confirming the mismatch Still, I was told again and again by automated emails and live representatives: “This is the correct cable for your truck. Jesse and her team are always the most professional and pleasant people to have work on my vehicles. I always have my oil changes, brakes and routine maintenance done here. Recently had my alignment checked and adjusted. Zeke and the team did a great job and explained the results and needed correction. I even had an engine replaced here in my F150. I don’t trust anyone else to take care of vehicles. I am always greeted with a smile and always leave with a thank you. Customer service at its best!

I wish I could give it zero stars as their bikes are junk. I bought the g60pro for my son as two of his friends have the same bikes. Two weeks into having the bike it left him stranded and I had to go pick up the bike. In those two weeks he rode it maybe five times at most. They said it’s a controller issue. Customer service is no help. They keep saying they are shipping the controller in so many days and have yet to ship anything. After talking to the parents of my sons friends they both stated that they had issues with the battery and motors too.
