They have a terrible return policy and will not take back unused products still in packaging! Terrible, rude customer service. I recently ordered the Swales Pehlam at the advice of my trainer. When it arrived I realized you cannot use it without a curbchain. I was fairly certain my highly sensitive mare would not tolerate the chain and didn't want to spend all that money on a bit she would reject. By the time I found a bit to try with a chain and realized it was outside the return window. But I still expect a company to accept unused, still in the packaging products. Is that unreasonable? I don't think so.

It was slow shipping to receive the Fair Play riding competition shirt from them that I ordered from them, so I suspect that they are actually outside of the USA. My biggest issue is that I barely received the shirt in time for my planned competition, and when I took it out of the packaging, two of the buttons immediately fell off of the collar! That tells me that they have poor quality control of outgoing shipments. Luckily, I had a backup riding shirt with me or that would’ve been problematic. I just emailed the company to ask for some kind of resolution, so I can’t comment yet on their customer service. But I am dismayed that their quality inspection process (or lack thereof) did not catch 2 loose buttons on the shirt. Just a warning then if you buy something from Dapper Horse, don’t take it out of the packaging last minute just before you need to use it. Take it out long in advance, in case there are defects. Update: Dapper Horse did contact me within 12 hours of my email to them and is offering to send a replacement shirt with a return label for the defective one. If that all happens in a timely manner and with reliability, then I will update my review from 1 star to 3 stars due to responsive customer service. Update #2: The dapper horse did send me a replacement shirt with a return shipping label, so I am changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars because of their responsive customer service. But I’m not giving them 5 stars, because I shouldn’t be receiving a brand new product and have the buttons fall off straight out of the bag. In fact, even on the replacement shirt, the buttons appear weakly sewn on by just a couple thin threads. I think it’s an inferior quality from the Fair Play brand of riding shirt. I should also note that the Fair Play brand shirts run a size small. It definitely fits 1 size smaller than listed.

I had to return part of my first order and it was a breeze, and while placing my second order I was having trouble accessing a discount and I received immediate assistance via Kathryn from the chat feature. Really impressed with how user-friendly they are.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I sent the items they shipped out late back a month ago and they still have not processed my refund, despite proof of returned delivery. They do not reply to emails. I will be proceeding with legal action. Unethical, their behaviour amounts to theft! I have reported them. Order # 255450455

The official website has all but become a scam. I love Breyer horses and the models themselves but Breyer have stolen from us for the last time. For 2024/2025 I am but 1 of 50+ individuals who all had our purchases lost/incorrectly sent and Breyer has not responded to a single one of us and I’m livid. I bought a limited Breyer Grab Bag #5 as a treat to myself and shelled out $300 ON SALE. I received only ONE Breyer, one I’d bought separately worth around $40 and yet I still had pay the full $300 + £50 in customs and £45 in postage and shipping. After MONTHS of trying to contact everyone I can think of my claim to get my money back was dismissed. I’m out $300 and I just have to accept it. Breyer has done this to so many customers that I’d run out of room quote their complains as well as my own. Don’t buy from this company online, the models are fine but the company? Beyond unacceptable now and it’s a terrible shame.

Shocking customer service...been a loyal customer for years but now you have to wait for 2 days to get response via email, the phone number wants you to leave a message and when returning an item you get this very high handed message basically saying that they MAY accept the return. Then there is another delay working out what is the next step. UK statutory rights say that we are allowed to send anything we have not seen in person back within 14 days of receipt. Seems to me that customers should spend money with them but not bother them if there is a problem. Never used to be like this
