Great service, beautiful jewelry and stones

It has been and will continue to be one of the delights I have to shop here. The stones are always spot on concerning type, origin, and fascinating bits about the mining of said gems. While watching the story of Tanzanite, I firmly believe I would NEVER go down into those tunnels no matter what. (I will admit that seeing rough Tanzanite in a wall of dirt is amazing.) Still won't go down.....
I feel that his prices are fair, service is great and shipping is really fast (where did you find those racing delivery pigeons. They're fast!!!)
Soon I will be off drooling my way through his website, once again, (wishing those $$$ bushes would start blooming for summer) ** I would Highly recommend this store both for inventory, service and specially for being a family owned business where quality comes first.

I was very satisfied with my black opal purchase. I was hoping for a bit more blue/green fire and less red. However, it is a very nice stone. I will continue to purchase from Moriarty's. Shipping is very prompt.

Long ago and far away I purchased an unheated tanzanite, a big one I just had to have. It's been in my collection until the other day.
A wild hair prompted me to return it to Moriarty's, after all these years, and have it heated. I sent it back and after a short time, the "magic" was performed and it was returned. Wow! It is even more stunning than its unheated, original self. No kidding.
Everything happened without a hitch, that was the point I've wanted to make. The place is great; I've purchased many gems over the years and they're as trustworthy as can be. No question. AND, they are genuinely kind, all of them.
Give them some business, support local economies of the US and the world. It's all good! Promise.

From the moment I made an on line query that was answered timely concerning my request for an "Ant Hill Garnet", followed up by Steve and then discussing all the options for the ring with Alice. During the busiest times of the year Christmas and Valentines Day the process kept moving forward. Steve had a stone that was was not up to his standards and found one that was! Jeweler's in DC won't offer silver and Moriarty's Gem Art does. Thanks for making the experience so pleasant and I thought the pricing was beyond fair. It's a lovely piece. Thank you for making this very sentimental ring a reality. Looking forward to working with you all again. Wonderful!

I bought a zircon gemstone. The pictures were pretty good and I called to get opinion on stone; person I spoke with said it was very pretty. The stone is very nice, it looks beautiful in its setting. Customer service was good; I got it pretty quickly. Moriarty has lots of beautiful gems!

I bought a pair of tanzanite earings in Tanzania. I went to Moriarty's to find a matching tanzanite pendant. I did. A 3.46 carat stone that was beautiful. Between Steve and Alice, I received a rendering that I was thrilled with! When I went to pick it up Steve found me another matching tanzanite stone for a ring. The ring turned out beautiful with the 3.56 stone and a couple of diamonds......I could not be happier! I will be a forever customer! Thanks

Very beautiful gem & beautiful cut. Packages securely & delivered on time, thank goodness, because I have had a mailman who has forged my signature on packages I never received. In the future I will order from Moriarity again & request a different method of delivery other than my usps. Excellent service & shows. Highly recommend.

Bought my wife a big expensive ring for Christmas, too big actually if there is such a thing. I could tell it was too tall for her. Moriarty let me return it and choose a different one. They sent a shipping label and made it easy for me. Very helpful and kind people. When you call, a real person answers the phone, not a robot and not a recording with a million options that take you in a circle. Very good and prompt communication. Made my wife happy which makes me happy, and I would recommend Moriarty’s Gem Art to anyone looking for quality jewelry.

Moriarty's has a huge selection combined with a personal touch. I actually got a call from the owner once I purchased my opal online!
They customized the mounting and my wife was very, very happy .
