Jody or her staff are always really helpful with almost any project one can imagine— if per chance the needed item is not available, she can get it or tell you where to look. She is absolutely amazing and a true asset to our community. Her husband is also a true gem, a great craftsman and quite knowledgeable.

Among the storefronts in downtown beaver is a quaint little shop that has been there for the last 12 years. Kathleen’s is not only a staple of the town of Beaver, but to all of Beaver County and you really need to stop in to see what’s new! Kathleen started the shop in Beaver Falls a mere 37 years ago. The store had a short stop in Bridgewater before finally landing on the main street of Beaver. Visitors to Kathleen's know about quality products that stock the store shelves. From home decor to gifts, to local beeswax candles and jams and jellies, the everything to tickle your fancy. On April 1, 2016 a new “Kathleen” took the reins. The former owner decided it was time to retire so she chose a new face to carry on her legacy. Hello! I'm Jody McKay and my sidekick and partner-in-crime is Steve. We are the new faces of Kathleen's. Stop in and take a stroll through the shop, or sit and chat for awhile about all the new and wonderful things we are doing here. The shop covers multiple styles: country decor, Victorian and modern decor, and even a little French cottage, and farmhouse. Steve spends time in the wood shop making items for our DIY workshops and repairing pieces I insist on repainting with our unique line of Debi's DIY Clay Based Chalk Paints. The legacy lives on, but is constantly evolving. So stop by, we have something just for you. Jody McKay

Lovely crafting store

Every time I want to do a project at home with my furniture, I know I need to come to this store. It's like having a live tutorial, Jody has the patience to explain the use of each material I need. I always find a great variety of high quality products at very affordable prices. I love this store.

Jody shared her personal history and acquisition of her shop, Kathleen’s . She also shared her many workshops and personnel experiences to accommodate wishes for several of her clients . It was an awesome presentation and opportunity for those who were not familiar with the special Beaver small business to learn all about it

Wonderful!

So far I have gone to Kathleen's about 5 days and Jody has taught me to create such fabulous things! I have learned to paint and create all of the most beautiful Spring, Fall and Christmas decorations! I cannot say enough nice things about how much fun it is and how my birdhouse, scarecrows, pumpkins and Christmas trees brighten our house and church!

I love Kathleen’s, I give it five stars.Jody and Steve are fantastic people extremely creative, kind and very humorous. Making it my weekly stop! Our last visit with my friends we created charcuterie boards. We had a great time creating our boards with Jody and Steve.
