Great American-owned company producing quality products that look great. The casual dress shirts (made in Italy) have become my favorite work-shirt for my job in academia. You can't find a better place for your seersucker items, either.
I first ordered a seersucker sport coat in the size I usually wear and it was too tight, but it looked great. So I then ordered a size larger in both a regular and a long. The regular fit perfect, no alterations needed to sleeve length or anything else. I returned the two coats I didn't choose and got a prompt refund. Great online experience.

Suit is very nice and I got compliments. I was sent the wrong size trousers 38 instead of 34. Luckily the tailor was able to take things in.

The pants for the suit do not fit
The pants for the suit do not fit. This is the second time I have purchased pants from Haspel that did not fit. I ordered the same waist size that I always purchase from other clothiers. I am going to have to return the pants for a larger size, and hope the new pair fits, as Haspel does not have a retail outlet at which to try on products before purchase.

I have loved Haspel suits since 1981…
I have loved Haspel suits since 1981 when I was 24, had just finished law school and found myself in need of a reasonably priced business wardrobe that was comfortable 24/7 in Houston and New Orleans (or as comfortable as you’re gonna get in a suit during July and August in either locale!) I was saddened when Haspel went out of business and beyond thrilled when a member of the family resurrected it. I guess my favorite purchase has been my seersucker tux. Black tie is unavoidable several times a year but a seersucker tux almost makes me happy about it. My only gripe (and the reason I handed out a 4 star rating instead of 5) is the lack of a pleated pant option. I’ve always worn pleated pants because I prefer roomy clothes. I realize that pleated plants are currently deemed to be unfashionable by the fashion popo but if Ben Silver’s in Charleston can still offer a pleated option in all their pants, why can’t Haspel? If Charleston can do it, why can’t New Orleans? It’s a matter of local pride!

Got what I paid for, and nothing more.
I’ve wanted a seersucker suit for a while now and finally got around to buying one. Ordering was easy and the suit arrived as advertised. I’d say it’s a bit expensive for what it is, but I was happy to pay a bit extra for this made in America product from a legacy name in that particular space.
I had a couple questions after I received the suit, and I was interested in buying a couple of the neck ties on their website. The descriptions and the pictures of some of the accessories don’t match at all, so I wasn’t sure if I would receive what I was seeing in the pictures, or the product that was described. I called a couple times and heard a message saying what their business hours were (I was calling during business hours), but couldn’t get to a live person. I sent an email to the address listed on their website, and 2 weeks later I haven’t heard back. I purchased the ties elsewhere.
