I was initially drawn to Larry's newsletter because of the content of his YouTube channel and his practical and pragmatic viewpoint. Note that I have been investing for over a decade but I needed to get perspectives and in-depth analyses without spending a lot of my own time. While Larry provides a perspective of current economic developments, he does tend to lean more towards the bearish gloom and doom side. I do not understand why he has to try to predict the future as he uses a lot of forward-looking statements and his personal views of what may happen which can mislead the inexperienced and uninitiated. He has the usual basket of established US and Chinese stocks and he tries to predict levels using the usual technical tools. I do not think I got anything specific out of the ordinary for the price I paid.
