My days are hectic, so I tried to open an account online. I received an email stating it was under review and I would get a response within 24-48 hours. The next day I received an email stating my application was denied, but no reason given. I had a very small window in my schedule the following day. I went to the branch inside Fry’s Marketplace and I went the first available teller and I had the account opened within 10 minutes. Great service! Great employee’s!

Wells Fargo didn't have time to open a new account for me but Desert Financial did it in minutes. I got a follow up call to see if I had any questions. You are even willing to print a few checks for me if I don't need to buy a whole box.

Horrible beginning experience with desert financial.

My experience with desert financial had been good until my second week of use.
I mobile deposited my first full check late Thursday night which I expected to be available at some point on friday, i made 2 small purchases which put me in the negative and I subsequently got charged 3 $30 fees in a 12 hour span which were removed once I called to find out what’s going on but was told that because my account is new they put a hold on my entire check for 7 days because they have to verify the check since I did it by mobile deposit which has now put me in a bad spot for the week with no money. And all they could say is in the future it’s better to bring the check in to the bank or use direct deposit which I already set up it just hasn’t gone into effect. And the kicker is the check I mobile deposited came from the same company I opened the accounts with in the first place. So now I’m stuck being negative $40 in my account until this Friday when they’re supposed to release my funds.
