If you're in the LA area, Demetrio and Nicole are the best bachata instructors to start learning bachata from! I've taken 4 of their masterclasses and innumerous classes on Sundays and Wednesdays that they offer at Steven's Steakhouse and I always have something new to learn from them! Not only are they talented, but they are also kind and light spirited. Demetrio's bonus wittiness makes every class fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend you check out their classes especially if you're a beginner trying to learn the fundamentals of Bachata. Recently took their Dominican/Traditional Masterclass and I'm hoping they offer the second part later this year :)

Love my new IDS American Smooth ballroom shoes. Shoes fit perfectly and the customer service was great. Love the quality of the shoes. The website was easy to find the perfect shoe. When I wasn’t sure on size the customer service guided me in the right direction. So nice to be able to talk to a real person quickly.

I have been going to the Mojo Technique for over a year now and love every bit of it. I have taken the aerial, pole and hoop classes. When I’m there I feel like I learn so much and am challenged to push my body in ways I never thought I would be able to! It feels very rewarding and I love the instructors! The owner is amazing, fun and super talented and really cares about everyone’s progress.

Their on-demand platform is an incredible resource for young dancers looking to supplement their training with at-home instruction. My 11-year-old daughter enjoys choosing videos and creating playlists that target different skills she wants to work on. Everything is broken down by skill or focus area, with both short and long lessons, so it really fits many different needs. While they have plenty of challenging and advanced lessons, it’s particularly useful for younger dancers who need that step-by-step direction from an instructor to stay motivated (versus a written list of exercises to do, for example). Videos are done with an instructor who teaches and directs the exercises and lessons verbally (and with a student demonstrating live), and who clearly have a lot of experience teaching and communicating with youth dancers. We’ve briefly tried a few other video or online dance education resources over the years and haven’t found anything else as useful and intentional as Godfrey. I’ve also interacted a few times with them on the customer service front and found them to be kind and communicative with very good customer service. Their holiday-themed bonus videos are a fun extra, again demonstrating they know how to motivate their youthful audience well!
