Clear communication at first. Efficient shipping and love the mattress! However, we were not informed that we would be getting a “floor model” which we discovered upon arrival. Could have been more transparent about that

Shikibuton mattress was as advertised. Feels very comfortable to my needs, and I sleep much better. Firm, but soft at the same time. Affordable with natural materials. Only downside for the 1 star off is, because I can't return it, if the mattress did not fit my needs if used and unpacked.

Wonderful dresser for the price. The company was quick to ship and the item was very well protected in the package. The only thing was the directions said it would take 30 minutes to put together. My husband is very capable, has all the correct tools and it took him closer to 2 hours.

Easy to order. They called to follow up. The mattress came as promised. The mattress is comfortable. I purchased the cot size wool/cotton and it’s plenty for a 5’10” 180lb guy. Firm but not hard.

Someone actually called me to make sure the order information was correct. Great customer service!! I find the 8" cotton futon mattress very comfortable with the right amount of firmness. I have slept well on it.

I ordered an 8 inch Natural Cotton and Wool Shiki mattress that I set on top of a tatami mat on the floor and it is absolutely wonderful! I have been sleeping on a Shiki mattress and tatami on the floor for many years and I will never go back to sleeping on a traditional bed. The cotton and wool blend keep me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I would also recommend buying a cotton sheet and the cotton and wool blend comforter —keeps my body temperature regulated (cool) so I sleep well and I always wake up feeling rested.
I would like to add that customer service is outstanding and my mattress was delivered by FedEx in less than 7 days from New York to the state of Washington.

the bed is wonderful- well made, quality materials. But, for an eco company, you need to assess your delivery partners. They were diligent and polite, showed up on time, but every part of the bed was wrapped in styrofoam and bubble wrap, I have 6 garbage bags of non-recyclable waste to deal with and it took me 3 hours to unpack and clean up materials, before even building the bed.
I don't mind the time so much, but the waste of toxic materials is off brand for you. You should have them wrapped in reusable blankets and have the shippers take the packing supplies back to be reused or something like that.
that said, I do love the bed.

We completely understand your concern about packaging waste. Sustainability is a core value for us, and we are continuously working to improve our practices. While we do use recycled boxes from previous furniture deliveries and purchase recycled plastic shrink wrap, finding a balance between protecting the product and minimizing waste is an ongoing challenge.
The idea of reusable blankets is interesting, but unfortunately, it’s not a practical solution for us at this time due to hygiene concerns and the need for constant cleaning. However, we truly appreciate your input and will continue exploring more eco-friendly packaging alternatives.

Comfort Pure called me before shipping my mattress just to make sure I really understood what I had bought. They answered all of my questions and I could tell they had no interest in selling me something for the sake of profit. They understood how big of a purchase a mattress is and handled it accordingly. I love the shape of this pillow. It takes the pressure off my shoulders. It’s a bit firm but I think it will soften over time. I had a good nights sleep with it.

Initially, I was ordering online, speaking with a chat agent via comfort pure. She encouraged me to contact her via phone. So, I contacted her to get more information. Hoping to learn more about the products, since this is my first futon purchase. The customer service rep on my end seemed very unhappy or lackadaisical about her job, which in turn felt like poor customer service. Super bummed about that, since I was very excited to order from this company. On the other hand, customer service from futon land was excellent.
