It was easy to find caterers on the site and they had a good variety of them. It was also easy caterers to get in touch with me and reach out. There seems to be quality company’s on the site. I also Love that Bark is BBB accredited.( I only do business with companies associated with them) and I like I don’t get too many email spammed from Bark.

The one thing I would like to know how you decide how many credit something cost. Some events are to expensive. I just bought a lead for 23 credits and They will not even reply. I wish there was some way to know it they are not ghosting. The 2 people who have replied I have gotten both.

It’s a scam i don’t know how to post a video here anyway i have all the Evidence This Company Is. a Scam company Don’t Worry This Will Be Send To The Authorities I Did Record Everything And i paid Money To Get The evidence I need to prove my state anyway people I swear to God they are scammers and their job jobs are fake. They posted themselves. They have a team of people same people they post in a different cities. On the same phone number it’s just a stupid scam they thought they are smart but thank God anyway I will post everything on all our social media to make people here and see by their own eyes and judge. Shameful shame on you all.

I regret engaging Bark
I first engaged Bark looking for a gardener. It all looked promising to start with, plenty of matches, but I received just one reply. I didn't engage with that respondent. I guess Bark can't control who replies and who doesn't. Anyway, I decided to switch-off further notifications. The emails continued to arrive, and I repeatedly altered my communications preferences to say none with each new email. I do not want them. So, I contacted them asking to close my account and stop sending me emails. I received confirmation that my account had been closed. Guess what? A few days later, I received another marketing email from them. So, I clicked on the 'unsubscribe' link in the email, only to be greeted with my account page. The account has clearly not been closed. I regret engaging Bark.

Bark has so many issues from a Professional
Bark has so many issues and none of them are being addressed. Depending on your service mileage may vary!
Bark customer service: “On average, we see a conversion rate of 1 in 5” or about 2/10!
So far my luck is 1/10 which is way too low. So if I spend $100 I will make 2 contacts with people interested of which one will accept. This is a numbers game pure and simple. $200 for 2 solid leads is a joke!
Bark has to design a better system where leads don’t cost me $90-100+ to get one person on the phone. What’s the point of the service if people don’t even respond??
• If I can’t make any money because the leads are bogus then why pay for this service? Make sense?
• If most people don’t respond to requests for a service they want then I shouldn’t be left holding the bag.
• If people stiff me with no response then I should be able to leave a star review about them so other people don’t get burned the next time. Stop making this a one-way street. Look at how Amazon handles reviews with products they sell. 1-5 stars.
• Here’s another bug with your system. I just wasted another expensive lead because the client didn’t take their lead down after choosing someone else. Ooops! Just got screwed again.
So we have bogus leads, non-responsive leads and leads already fulfilled. I get charged for every single one of them.
80-90% of the leads I get have no response. Zip, zero , nada. I just wasted $90. Horrible odds.
So out of $100 spent I may speak with 1-2 people and of that, maybe one wants to think about it.
I would like to offer these suggestions.
• To increase my odds Bark should implement a 48 hour rule. After 48 hrs leads automatically disappear from Bark. The client has to physically renew with an email/SMS link or check they hired a person. This will prevent false/ outdated links from crowding out legitimate leads. I wasted 2 leads on people who didn’t take down their stupid leads. Will I get credit for this – hell no!!
• Professionals should get credit for contacting a person, but nothing happens. At least, let me mark them as a dead beat! This will put a mark on their account for other people to see. Not as good as a review on Amazon but least there will be some penalty when people abuse your system. Any person pays no price for misleading professionals with bogus leads. Give us some power to fight back. Fair??? Why would you want these people abusing your system and paying customers?? This system has to be better designed.
• Elite Pro is a waste of money. $100 for 5 leads. I looked at all the benefits of this “enhanced service”. If I buy a normal service I get 5 leads and I don’t have to wait 48hrs after all the “good” leads are gone. To make this worth buying give 15+ leads. 8 after 24hrs and 7 after 48hr, otherwise what’s the point?? Cancelling subscription after my trial ends. No benefits whatsoever.
• Allow people to organize, move and sort their pictures in their profile. No functionality all at. No excuse for this!
• Give us stats on whether the person we contacted even clicks through our profile. We get no feedback.

Bought leads for our cricket club for…
Bought leads for our cricket club for use of our facilities for weddings, parties etc... Recived 1 lead which I rang and the customer said could be interested in booking on 2 possible dates. I confirmed by email and after 2 weeks contacted her again, she said she could still be interested - but have heard nothing. I suspect this to be a plant to give a positive vibe after buying leads. I have received several other leads which I have turned down (that is an option) as they are too far away bearing in mind they requested a venue local to their home. I have received no more leads for a while and requested my money back but have heard nothing. I now keep getting emails wanting me to upgrade my account to 'better' leads - I was assured their leads were top of the range anyway, so how come they've now got 'better' ones?? Seems like I've been scammed by BARK. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND USING THEM TO ANYONE!! BEWARE!

Daily spam from these people I have never contacted.
These people are spamming me every day, assigning my email address to random names with the same initials. I've asked them repeatedly to stop and they won't do it. Something is wrong here.

Terrible system
Terrible system, none of the leads seem real so complete waste of money. They don't offer refunds but offer you credits so you can chase, call and email dead leads. One to avoid better places to spend your money.

REVIEWS ARE OF OTHER CONTRACTORS
All these 5-star reviews are from the people who actively use Bark that are looking for low priced contractors, not the active users. Many customers aren't even aware that we (the contractor) are charged for their leads, and think it's a free platform for all.
Most clients will also ignore and change their mind when you pick up their lead, or just somehow expect us to contact them. When you try calling them however, they'll ignore your number, despite the multiple attempts, for whatever reason. You can try emailing them, but it's not like that'll work, so most clients for whatever reason think there's no loss for anyone, again, most likely believing that leads are free. This ends up hurting the user (contractor) as we are charged a stupid amount for each lead, especially with a 20% VAT fee on top.
And then there is their poor credit return policy. You have to subscribe monthly to be able to get leads that are dead ends returned to you, (if they're feeling kind enough) and they don't care if a customer doesn't respond, as it's on you to deal with the loss, not them. As for the actual call centre agents, most of them couldn't care less for your issues, and are most likely trained to ensure there's little credit returns as possible.
It's such a poor platform to use, if you're looking into starting your business, do not invest into Bark, learn to use Facebook ADS, Instagram, or other forms of marketing, never use Bark.
