I had to follow up repeatedly, and after two weeks, I finally received the statement, which was dated April 5, 2025, but the email wasn’t sent to me until April 14, 2025. I immediately attempted to dispute the charges. I was told to submit my dispute via email, which I did on April 14 and again on April 16. As of today, April 21, I still have not received a response. The charges raised several red flags: - **Utility Transfer Fees:** During the transition from Pathlight to Tricon, Pathlight still had the utilities in their name. I should not have been penalized for a transfer-related charge during that period. - **Carpet Padding Removal:** The only carpeted area in the home was upstairs. I expected a standard carpet cleaning fee, but not for carpet pad removal — which seems unjustified. - **Painting Charges:** I had the home painted prior to moving out, including patching and painting all small holes. Yet I was still billed for painting. - **Blinds Replacement:** Only one blind was cracked, but I was charged $255. I’ve asked multiple times how many blinds were actually replaced, but no clarification has been provided. - **Tub Replacement:** I was charged for a tub replacement, which I find baffling, as the tubs were in the same condition when I left as when I moved in. One tub upstairs had a visible crack from before I moved in — clearly patched and resurfaced by the previous owner or Pathlight. It remained functional and unchanged during my lease. Awful. Charge you without letting you know and then insist that they did. Asked for an escalation and they said they would reply between 24-48 hours. It's been almost a week. Do not use them, they are awful.

THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS IN LISBON They would first of all ask you to pay the security deposit as well as the rent. Once you do, they will tell you that for pathetic reasons, we cannot sign a contract and will cancel the deal. I had to involve and pay a lawyer to get the contract signed. I have paid them for 8 months without living there as they said they will not let anyone else take the key. I sent them the rent to the same account I have been sending and they said they did not receive it. I have the confirmation that their account has received the payment but they are clearly declining it and there is no way for me to claim that money back. They STOLE MY DEPOSIT AS WELL AS MY RENT and cancelled my contract. Do not fall victim of these scammers as they are pathetic, arrogant, most unprofessional and criminal-minded people who want to rip you off and snatch money from you. If I was in Lisbon right now, I would have literally filed a criminal case against these crooks. Pathetic scammers and petty money snatchers. PLEASE KEEP YOUR MONEY AWAY FROM THESE THEIVES.

Worst real estate agent ever! The woman I talked to pretented to speak english, but she could not understand anything. She was rude, unpolite and spent her time sighing on the phone! She was the most unprofessional agent ever...A pity that this kind of person exists, she is the worst employee for a company, especially a real estate agency which should be welcoming to foreigners!!

The site is easy to navigate and lays out information well, but that's all I can say that's positive. The site has you enter all your criteria for what you're looking for, how many beds, baths, the range you'd be willing to pay, amenities, pet friendly, etc. Except it doesn't matter what you put in, because it will just recommend properties that are vaguely what you're looking for based on location alone. It will constantly recommend properties that fall outside most of your criteria, it especially likes to push properties vastly outside your budget, sometimes over $1000 more than your set max budget. What's the point of setting a budget if you won't show me the properties in my budget? If you don't host properties on your site within my budget, why let me set a custom budget outside what your site offers? I know the market for rentable housing is unforgiving right now but sites like these do not help at all. They send me several emails a week telling me "we found you the perfect match!" and it's the same 10 properties they keep showing me every week that I've already rejected. I've been registered and receiving emails for 8 months and have never found a property I could inquire about through this site. In hindsight, I'm thinking it was made only with 60+ retirees in mind, not really helpful for anybody else.
